A Poem I Wrote that I’m Proud of.

Loneliness.

Echoes of my Insanity.

Have you felt so alone lately

That the world seems to fade away?

Leaving you with just your thoughts

And the screams that never stop.

Have you cried until your tears

Have run dry and your heart is bare?

With no one to hear your pain

And no one to share your shame.

Have you been trapped in a house

That never felt like a home?

With a soulless body and a broken heart

Draining all your energy apart.

Have you screamed at the top of your lungs

But no one seemed to hear your voice?

Confined within the walls of your mind

Lost in thoughts you cannot find.

Have you felt this pain before

The weight of sadness that you can’t ignore?

Wondering how much more you can take

As your soul and mind slowly break.

Have you tried to find some peace

But only ended up in fragments of your mind?

Lost in emotions that you can’t define

As your thoughts slowly fade and decline.

Have you ever felt this feeling to be familiar

Like a ghost from your past come back to haunt?

A part of you that you cannot deny

Even though it kills you and you want to end it all…

It’s a feeling that’s hard to shake,

Like a burden that you can’t escape,

It tears you apart, it breaks you down,

But it’s a part of you that you can’t deny.
